Neutral Gift Set

Here is a fun uni-sex gift set...inspired by my friend Erin, who recently adopted a sweetie pie from Ethiopia. She loved the tan/cream/chocolate brown zebra rug from Pottery Barn Kids. I wanted to make her something that was similar...and this line was born. :) I will be listing this set (minus the tag blankie) on my etsy site soon....so good look for it! If you need a baby gift...this is a great one!!

I'm in a sewing mood....

So I've been doing a lot of sewing these days.  I'm really enjoying it right now....which is good b/c I've had several orders.  Here are some pictures of some burp cloths I've been working on for orders....

The following picture is just something that makes me so so happy!  I have a major ribbon fetish.  Ribbon just makes me happy.  I just ordered a new stash from Ribbon Retreat...which by the way, is awesome....look them up online if you're in the market.  They have an amazing selection and ship out super fast.  So this is what was in my package yesterday.  It was like Christmas morning!  Aren't these colors yummy?  I can't wait to make some fabulous hair bows with these!  

Zebra Print Tag Blankie

I absolutely love the new animal print minky fabric they have at Hancocks right now.  They have all different kinds.  Minky is already one of my favorite fabrics.  So having it in animal print just makes my day! :)  I used dark chocolate brown minky dot fabric on the other side with coordinating ribbons.  This seriously is one of my favorites.
